MSPNet Highlight: Models & Drawings

Most of you reading this are aware of our Partner Portal, MSPnet, which is a repository of information available only to Yaskawa Motoman partners. In fact, so much information is available on the site we felt each newsletter should highlight a specific link found on MSPnet and describe the information it provides. For January 2020, the MSP Team has chosen to highlight the “Models and Drawings” link.

The Models and Drawings link offers individual links to downloadable files of our many robots, controllers and other products in various formats to match your design software. For instance, if you are designing a solution in SOLIDWORKS® for a customer and want to include a GP8 robot arm, just navigate to MSPnet, go to (or hover over) the Technical Information menu and click on the Models and Drawings link near the top of the page for a complete listing of available files (in a variety of formats such as STEP, AutoCAD, .pdf). Then just click to download the file you need.

If the file (or format) that you need is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the listing for the robot models. Click on the link in this message -“If you don’t find the file you need, you may submit a CAD request” – and complete/submit the form. Your request will be forwarded to our team and we will do our best to provide what you need as soon as possible.

So, whether you’re compiling a quote or are working with an engineering design program and need a model or drawing, Models and Drawings on the MSP.net is the place to go!
